Touch 3.0 mm ‘cylinder’ diamond bit — a professional attachment for machine-based and combined manicure/pedicure treatments, designed for precise, controlled work on the skin, side ridges, pterygium and calloused areas.

Intended use:
-treatment of side ridges;
-removal of pterygium;
-smoothing of rough patches of skin;
-final finishing after cuticle removal;
-gentle treatment of normal and sensitive skin;
-removal of ridges and gel residue when using the over-the-tip extension technique;
-use in machine-assisted and combined manicures/pedicures.

Hardness/abrasiveness:
Blue grooves — medium abrasiveness. Suitable for more vigorous treatment of the side rolls, cleaning the pterygium, smoothing rough patches of skin, and working in areas where a firm, effective action is required.

Red grit — mild abrasiveness. Designed for gentle use on normal and sensitive skin, for the final polishing of the lateral ridges, for gentle cleaning of the pterygium, and for careful finishing after the main treatment.

It is important to bear in mind when working that the cylindrical shape of the nozzle requires the correct hand position, an understanding of the working angle and precise control of the pressure applied.

Care of diamond burs:
To ensure the bur retains its abrasive properties for longer, it is important to clean, disinfect and sterilise it properly after each client.
1. After use, clean the bur mechanically using a special brush.
2. If necessary, clean it in an ultrasonic cleaner.
3. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions regarding the concentration and exposure time of the disinfectant solution.
4. After disinfection, rinse the bur thoroughly and dry it completely.
5. Only sterilise the instrument when it is dry.
6. Store in a dry place, away from moisture and corrosive chemicals.
Increasing the concentration of the disinfectant solution or incorrect storage may adversely affect the coating on the bur and shorten its service life.
